(Adair Co) Adair County is being asked to take part in the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
Adair County Auditor Mandy Berg explained that they got a message from the State Historical Society that said they will be celebrating America’s 250th Birthday on July 4, 2026 and they would like the county to be a part of it.
Supervisor Matt Wedemeyer said he would reach out to the tourism committee and other individuals to see if they would be interested in serving on the committee.
The Supervisors also approved a motion to contact SICOG to have them start the updated Comprehensive Plan for the county.
