(Creston) A Creston man suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup.
The Creston Police Department says the accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday on Highway 25 N. in Creston. Authorities say 27-year-old Jeffrey Johnson, the driver of a 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, received minor injuries in the accident.
According to the report, Johnson, driving a 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, grabbed the front brake, causing it to go down. The motorcycle struck the hitch of a 2017 Chevy Silverado pickup that was stopped at a yellow light. The pickup driver, 66-year-old Kevin Douglas White of Bedford, escaped injury.
Johnson was taken to Greater Regional Hospital in Creston to treat minor injuries. Following his release, Police cited him for driving with a revoked license and failure to stop at an assured clear distance.
