(Adair Co) The Adair County Board of Supervisors this morning approved a resolution vacating a portion of Lewis Avenue near 150th Street.
During the Supervisors meeting on April 23rd, Engineer Nick Kauffman explained that the intersection is unusual; the road is offset, making it an irregular, non-square intersection.
The goal is to realign the intersection. The Board held a public hearing this morning and fielded questions from nearby landowners. Following the hearing, the Supervisors approved the resolution to vacate a portion of Lewis Avenue.
The Supervisors also held a public hearing on the FY25 Budget Amendment. There were no public comments, and the amendment was approved.
