(Red Oak, IA) — Red Oak had the advantage of the home course in a Class 2A first round regional meet and they used it — the Tigers won the first round regional meet with a score of 359, Hawkeye Ten Conference rival Shenandoah finished 2nd with a 374 and Treynor advanced with a 381. (In girls golf regional first round, when the home course team finishes either first or second, the third place team also advances).
Audubon did not have enough golfers for the team standings — low round for the Wheelers went to Mari Gleason in 16th place with a 103.
Tri Center finished in 6th place in the team standings — low round for the Trojans was Cameron Way in 19th place with a 106.
The Regional Finals will be Wednesday, May 21 at Willow Vale Golf Course hosted by MVAOCOU.
