(Montgomery Co) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors approved the recommendation to appoint a Veterans Affairs Director.
Bret Scherkenbach introduced himself to the Board Tuesday morning.
Sherkenbach will take over duties as the Veterans Affairs Director on June 17th.
In other action, the Supervisors approved a proclamation request presented by Tom Honeyman to declare May 23, 2025 as “Alvin D. Hays Day”.
