(Keswick, Iowa)—Chloe Zittergruen, the newly elected President of the Iowa FFA Association, visited the KSOM/KS95 studios on Monday morning. She succeeds Collin Bauer, an Audubon High School graduate and current Iowa State University student, in this leadership position.
Zittergruen held several leadership positions before being elected President. She previously served as the Iowa FFA State Secretary and represented the Southeast District as District Secretary.
Zittergruen has come a long way since her days as a shy freshman at Tri-County High School. Most recently, she spoke in front of 7,000 people at the Iowa FFA State Convention.
Zittergruen says it has been nearly a full month since taking the lead, and the new team has accomplished a lot. The Spring Leadership Conference for District Officers was held in Ankeny this past month, and the first round of National FFA training just wrapped up.
Zittergruen says one of her primary goals is genuine one-on-one interaction with members.
Chloe is wrapping up her first year at Iowa State University, majoring in Agricultural Communication and Horticulture.
