(Carroll) The Hawkeye Ten Conference girls’ golf tournament is held today at the Carroll National Golf Club. Atlantic enters as the defending champion. Head Coach Brooke Newell says the team aims to retain the title but acknowledges there will be intense competition to overcome.
Chloe Perfect of Lewis Central leads the field with an 18-hole average of 77, Taylor Rasmussen, Clarinda, 80.50, Addy Beiter, Kuemper, 82.40, Sarah Pickens, Shenandoah, 83, and Brynn Knaus of Red Oak, 84.67.
Red Oak leads the league with an 18-hole average of 381.87, L.C., 389.60, and Clarinda, 390.3.
The Tournament gets underway at 9:00 a.m.
