(Neola, IA) — Tri Center hosted a Girls Trojan Relays on Monday night and the Trojans won their own meet beating Treynor by 27 points. Here is a team by team breakdown:
Tri Center: Seven victories for the home team — Reese Dittmer won the 1500 with a season PR of 5:31.55; Avilyn Kilpack won the High Jump with a PR of 5-00 and was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles; Tess Carey won the 200 (26.26); Kaitlin Kozeal won the 100 (13.20). Tri Center won the Shuttle Hurdle Relay (1:07.04) with Zohie Payne, Layla Meador, Kilpack and Quincey Sneckloth. The also won the 4×400 relay (4:14.21) with Schneckloth, Sophia Hazen, Jozie Payne and Isah VanArsdol and the 4×800 (9:49.73, season PR) with Dittmer, Schneckloth, Casey and VanArsdol.
Also, Lucy Elsener was 2nd in the 100 (13.56); Addison Boden was 2nd in the 3000 (13:27.36); Jozie Payne was 2nd in the Long Jup (15-07.50); and Layla Meador was 3rd in the 100 Hurdles (season PR of 16.31).
CAM: Ada Hansen won the 100 Hurdles with a season PR of 15.27; Courtney Follmann won the Discus with a season PR of 122-07; and Ruthie Rich was 2nd in the High Jump equaling a PR of 5-00.
Riverside: Kayden Schnack won the Long Jump with a season PR of 16-05.25. Bentley Rone won the 400 Hurdles (1:09.58). The Bulldogs won the 4×100 and 4×200 relays. 4×100 (53.64) with Ella Reed, Arabella Singleton, Adaline Martens and Olivia Lund and 4×200 (1:50.66) with Schnack, Martens, Lund and Singleton. Sophia Fenner was 2nd in the shot put (36-07); Veronica Schechinger was 3rd in the 200 (27.79); Lund was 3rd in the 100 (13.69 PR); and Madison Kelley was 3rd in the Discus (102-06).
Audubon: Kadence Brannan Sporrer finished 2nd in the 800 (2:34.21). Riley Miller was 6th in the 1500 with a season PR of 6:03.00. Katelyn Dreher was 6th in the 200 with a season PR 29.93.
Underwood: Ally Adams won the 800 (2:30.42 season PR).
Atlantic: Gianna Mixon was 3rd in the 400 (1:05.88); Claire Comes was 5th in the 1500 (season PR 6:01.46); Jaydin Nowatzke was 7th in the 100 with a season PR 13.93.
Treynor: Kennedy Hughey was 1st in teh 400 (PR of 1:03.64); Ryleigh Thomas 1st in the 3200 (12:14.32); Delaney Matthews was first in the Shot Put (37-05.50) and 2nd in the Discus (118-11). Madeline Knispel was 2nd in the 200 (PR 27.65); Cora White was 2nd in the 400 (PR 1:05.60); Anne Miller 2nd in the 1500; Rylee Hemmingsen 2nd in the 100 Hurdles.
