(Red Oak, IA) — It was routine business for the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors. Board Chair Charla Schmid reported on going to a Board Meeting at Montgomery County Hospital and says there are a few new doctors coming on staff
In addition, the Supervisors the Road use Agreement relating to the development of solar energy system, wind energy conversion system, natural gas and hazardous liquid pipeline projects. The Supervisors also approved Resolution No. 2025-15 to remove the stop sign on the intersection of 180th Street and Hickory and to place a stop sign on Hickory Ave at the same intersection.
The Supervisors set a date for a public hearing regarding the amending Wind Energy Conversion System Ordinance for May 27 at 9:20 am. They approved the Sheriff’s report for April 30 in the amount of $4,534.93 and approved the Treasurer’s Semi Annual Report ending fund balance for April 30 at $14,793,320.09. And it was reported the Villisca Tower was up and running as of Monday evening.
