Midwest Economy Slowing but Remains Above Growth Neutral

(Midwest) — The Midwest economy continues to grow, but the pace of growth is slowing.

Despite the overall decline in growth, April was the fourth straight month above growth neutral for the Midwest economy.   The 9-state Mid-America Business Conditions Index looks at states ranging from Minnesota to Arkansas.

Anything below 50 in the latest nine-state Mid-America Business Conditions index is below growth neutral.
