(Missouri Valley) Residents of Harrison County will have an opportunity to learn about the upcoming Missouri Valley Bypass project and share their input during an open house scheduled for Thursday, May 1.
The open house will take place at the Rand Center, located at 1100 S 4th St in Missouri Valley, and will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Attendees can drop in at any time during this window to view detailed project plans and learn about potential right of way impacts.
Staff from the Iowa Department of Transportation will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. The event is designed to be informal, with no scheduled presentations, allowing participants to speak directly with staff and provide feedback.
The meeting space is accessible for individuals with disabilities. Anyone needing additional support at the event is encouraged to contact organizers by Monday, April 28, 2025.
For those unable to attend in person, project information and an online comment form will be available. Community members can view the plans and submit feedback online through May 14, 2025. A name and zip code will be required to comment.
