Mass of Christian Burial for 83-year-old Jolene Kay Brotherson of Avoca will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Avoca. Burial will be held at the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca. The Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m at the Church. Rosary will be held at the church at 4:00 p.m. The Pauley Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Leon Brotherson of Avoca, IA; children, Shelly Henderson (Shawn Peters) of Glenwood, IA; Dirk Brotherson of Avoca, IA; Tina (Dan) Roth of Wall Lake, IA; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Karen Wettengel of Council Bluffs, IA; Linda (Alvin) Greve of Vail, IA; Carmen (Joe) Cogan of Omaha, NE; sisters-in-law, Janice Snyder of Wall Lake, IA; Corrine Snyder of Davis, OK.
