Family will greet friends on Wednesday April 9, 2025 from 6PM to 8PM at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca, IA. Burial will take place at the Oakland Cemetery. Survivors include his sons Dana Cook Jr. (Cassie) of Coon Rapids, IA; Michael Chapman (Ashley) of Walnut, IA; Robert Cook (Dominique) of Casey, IA; Joe Cook (Morgan) of Manning, IA; girlfriend Jan Thompson of Casey, IA; 17 grandchildren; siblings Ronald Cook (Alyce) and Vicki Campion (Greg) both of California.
