(Des Moines) The National Weather Service says there is a chance for a few strong to severe thunderstorms tonight into Wednesday morning, mainly to the far southern regions of Iowa. The main threats are large hail and damaging winds.
Meanwhile, a Wind Advisory is in effect for Monona, Harrison, Pottawattamie, Mills, and Fremont counties from 11:00 this morning to 7:00 p.m. this evening. Forecasters expect southeast winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
