(Council Bluffs) Investigators identified a second suspect in the March 23 shooting incident outside the O’Face Bar in Council Bluffs.
On Tuesday, Police reported the arrest of 22-year-old Ty’Jon Lamonn Edwards of Missouri Valley. Investigators report the arrest of a second suspect identified as 32-year-old Cole Nathaniel Thurlow of Council Bluffs.
The arrest stems from a disturbance in the early morning on March 23. Arriving officers learned that a disturbance had occurred as the bar was closing, which resulted in a male suspect firing multiple rounds at the bar and an occupied vehicle in the bar’s parking lot. The gunfire hit no one, but an occupant of the car did receive treatment at a local hospital for minor injuries.
Thurlow is held at the Pottawattamie County Jail for two counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon. Edwards faces two counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, a Class C Felony.
No other arrests are anticipated. The case has been referred to the Pottawattamie County Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
