Tom Carroll, the Grain Originator, added that since the plant opened, it has paid more than $1.6 billion to local corn farmers.
Mitch Rupiper mentioned that 50 percent of the water used during the cooling process is sourced from recycled water provided by the City of Atlantic.
The plant handles approximately 200 semi-loads of corn daily, operates Monday through Friday, and receives around one million bushels weekly. Rupiper highlighted that they have cultivated strong relationships with local producers.

Since its inception, Elite Octane has processed over 300 million bushels of corn into more than just ethanol. The plant has also produced over 2 million tons of high-protein animal feed and over 300 million pounds of corn oil. Notably, 50 percent of all water used in ethanol production is recycled water from the City of Atlantic, preventing it from being discharged into the river.
