(Cass Co) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved the purchase of real estate at 58424 630th Avenue near Atlantic for a Secondary Roads Maintenance Facility.
Engineer Trent Wolken explained that they’ve been looking at replacing buildings for awhile.
Wolken said when this became available, it gave them an open plate. Instead of tearing down buildings to put up news ones, they can start over and have everything in one space.

Trent Wolken said they agreed on a price and terms of $400,000 for 30.82 acres. He said they are looking at a closing date of April 1st.
