(Adair Co) The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved a request from County Attorney Melissa Larson to switch their book subscription from Thompson Reuters to Westlaw.
Larson said they pay $494.80 per month for the Thompson Reuters books and out of the 25 books, she only uses two of them. So, she reached out to Westlaw and inquired about a subscription that includes Iowa law and Federal law.
In other action, the Supervisors approved signing the plans for the P-48 Resurfacing Project. Engineer Nick Kauffman said the total project cost is around 2.1 million dollars. He said they will get a safety grant for about 310-thousand and Adair County’s portion will be $608,535 out of the Farm to Market account. This project involves four counties. The letting date is set for May 20th.
