(Henry County) The Iowa State Patrol released the name of the victim killed in a single-vehicle crash in Henry County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened early this (Saturday) morning on Highway 78 near mile marker 41. Authorities say 50-year-old Michelle Moore of Winfield, Iowa, died in the crash.
According to the report, for unknown reasons, Moore, driving a 2015 Dodge Ram Pickup eastbound on Highway 78, went off the road, came to rest, and caught fire. Authorities pronounced Moore deceased at the scene.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office/911, Winfield Fire Department, and the Henry County Medical Examiner.
