(Harlan, IA) — The Hawkeye Ten Conference tournament is this Saturday, coverage on KS 95 but before Harlan heads to Denison they go to Council Bluffs tonight for duals against Carroll, Creston, Underwood, Winterset and Lewis Central. The Titans will be one of the favorites at the conference tournament so the Cyclones will see them twice in three days — not to mention Creston which will be a tough foe as well. Harlan Head Coach Adam Bendorf says the good competition is good for his kids
Senior Jesse Jens is the leader with a 36-2 record and is ranked 4th at 126 pounds. Bendorf says he has improved throughout the season and Bendorf is happy with all his seniors
Spencer Fink is 30-7 at 120 pounds and Brody McKinley is 31-7 at 150 pounds. Harlan also has a handful of young wrestlers that have made an impact like Sophomore Nathan Sandquist who is 28-7 at 106 pounds
