(Iowa City) An Iowa Hawkeyes male cheerleader is recovering after a stunt gone wrong at an Iowa basketball game on Tuesday night. The incident happened during the Iowa game against Minnesota at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The cheerleader was performing a backflip and landed on his head. He was carried out on a stretcher but gave the crowd a thumbs-up. He’s expected to be ok.
