(Audubon, IA) — Audubon Boys basketball go back on the hardwood tonight hosting IKM Manning. The Wheelers lost to the Wolves last Friday 58-52 with IKM pulling out a close game in the 4th quarter. Audubon Head Coach Darran Miller feels like his team let one slip away so he’s anxious to see the Wolves again
Audubon has lost four in a row to Logan Magnolia, AHSTW, Underwood, and Treynor — all solid teams but Miller’s club has righted the ship winning 3 of their last 4 with the only loss to the Wolves. Miller says they have seen improvement in a number of different areas
On Monday, Audubon beat East Sac County 57-51 and Austin Christensen had 15 points and 13 rebounds asserting himself inside. The Wheelers also had a big game from Freshman Jorgen Nowatzke also with 15 points. Miller is not surprised to see production for Nowatzke and other young players
After IKM Manning tonight, its a tough road down the stretch with games Tri Center, Riverside, CAM, Lo Mag and ASHSTW to conclude the regular season.
