(Atlantic) The (11-5) Atlantic girls’ basketball team travels to (5-10) Creston tonight in the first of two of a girl/boy doubleheader. The Trojans defeated the Panthers earlier this month 51-47. Atlantic Head Coach Dan Vargason says Creston is playing good basketball right now.
Kadley Bailey leads the team in scoring, averaging 19.20 points per game. The Team averages 48.13 points per outing, shooting 34.7 percent from the field and 21.4 percent behind the three-point line.
Atlantic is coming off a 59-53 win over Treynor. The Trojans are shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 33.0 percent from behind the three-point line, and 69.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Paytn Harter leads the Trojans in scoring, averaging 16.69 points per game, followed by Makenna Schroeder, 11.06, and Katrina Williams, 9.50 points per outing.
