(Adair Co) The Adair County Auditor’s Office has announced that a Special Election for the Orient-Macksburg Community School District (O-M CSD) will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, following a formal request by the school district’s Board of Directors. The request, made to address a proposed reorganization of the district by dissolution, was officially acknowledged and approved by Auditor Mandy Berg, Commissioner of Elections, on January 15, 2025.
The election will present voters in the O-M CSD, spanning the counties of Adair, Adams, Madison, and Union, with Public Measure AA, which proposes the dissolution of the district and the redistribution of its territory. The public measure reads:
