(Grimes) The Polk County Sheriff’s Office released the identity of the deceased female found in the backyard of the residence in Grimes.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office press release, at around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, deputies responded to a residence at 702 SE Dovetail Road in Grimes. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult female, identified as 46-year-old Hui Chen, deceased in the backyard.
According to the press release, detectives gathered evidence and conducted interviews. Authorities say at this point in the investigation, there is no evidence to support foul play. However, the investigation continues. Investigators are waiting for autopsy results. No other information is available.
