(Harlan) Harlan hosts a triangular boy’s meet tonight featuring Atlantic and Denison-Schleswig. The Trojans enter this competition after securing victories over Logan-Magnolia, Woodbine, and OABCIG on Tuesday. Tonight’s matches will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with Atlantic wrestling against Harlan. Atlantic Head Coach Tim Duff notes that the Cyclones are well-coached and have several talented wrestlers.
He mentions Jesse Jens of Harlan, who competes at 126 pounds and remains undefeated this season after earning a medal at the state wrestling tournament last February.
The Trojans will then face Denison-Schleswig in the second match of the evening.
For Harlan, this is their first competition of 2025 and its their only home meet of the season. Head Coach Adam Bendorff expects good competition
The format for the meet is as follows: Atlantic and Harlan will wrestle first, followed by Atlantic against Denison-Schleswig, and finally, Harlan will take on Denison-Schleswig in the nightcap.
