(Des Moines) The Iowa couple killed in a Christmas murder-suicide has been identified. Des Moines police say Salvador Carreon shot his wife, LeAnna, on Christmas Day before turning the gun on himself. Investigators say the 60-year-old husband died at the scene, and the 53-year-old victim went to the hospital, where she later died. The homicide was the 17th to take place in Des Moines this year.
