(McClelland) The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident in the area of 22834 265th Street near McClelland at 7:00 p.m. Saturday. The Underwood and McClelland Fire Departments were also dispatched to the scene.
The vehicle was occupied by four juveniles. First responders administered aid to the juveniles. One juvenile was transported to Mercy Hospital and later passed away.
Due to the seriousness of the crash, Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigators responded to the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
The names of the juveniles are not being released at this time as the investigation continues.
