(Anita, IA) — The time to get healthy is now and CAM is starting to get its players back from injuries just in time for the playoffs. Head Coach Barry Bower will everything at his disposal for their first round game at Graettinger Teril Ruthven Ayshire this Friday. Lineman Chase Jahde has had to play through a sore ankle the last couple of games but Bower says he is doing much better as is other key starters
The one constant for CAM has been Junior Collin Bower who is drawing attention from everyone he goes up against. Most opponent head coaches that go against the Cougars rave about his play and his intensity. Right now, he is CAM’s leading receiver with 18 catches for 383 yards and 8 TD; he leads in tackles with 56.5 and is 5th in 8 man in the state in tackles for a loss with 21. His uncle and Head coach Barry Bower says he has one speed — that’s warp speed
CAM does not have an easy first round game — the GTRA Titans have only one loss on the year and that is to #1 Bishop Garrigan. They scored 38 in that game and the fewest points scored in their 7 victories was 54. Bower however does not shy away from a challenge
