(Neola, IA) — It has been a special season so far for Tri Center — after losing week one to AHSTW, the Trojans and run off 7 in a row and have won the district title in a district with the pre season number one team in Class A. Last week, Tri Center thumped Kingsley Pierson 49-7 and have earned a first round playoff game at home this week against South Central Calhoun.
Last week against the Vikings, Head Coach Ryan Schroder wanted to work on the run — and Carter Kunze ran it 19 times for 231 yards and 3 TD — he now has 1419 for the season. Not only that but AJ Harder threw for 305 yards and 4 TD and 1 INT. Schroder likes where his offense is right now
Schroder believes that the team chemistry is about the best he’s ever seen as a head coach
This week Tri Center will host South Central Calhoun in a first round playoff game. If you can believe it, Tri Center has never won a playoff game. Ever. In school history. Schroder says this week is actually week number one — its a brand new season
