(Guthrie Center, IA) — After a shaky win over Earlham, AC/GC came back last week and dismantled rival Panorama 42-11. Fullback Mike Fuller led the way with 16 carries for 149 yards and 2 TD. Joe Crawford added 9 carries 98 yards and 3 scores and QB Jathan South carried it 8 times for another 52 yards. The Chargers did cough it up twice in the game and one time for Head Coach Cody Matthewson is too many
Defense continues to be a strength for AC/GC. Brexton Schneider led the Chargers in tackles with 7.5 and 3 TFL, Xander Harwood had 7 tackles and 3 TFLs, overall AC/GC had an incredible 15 tackles for a loss and still Matthewson is striving for perfection
Matthewson says the greatest strength of his defense is stopping the run and that will be to the test tonight as the Chargers visit South Central Calhoun. The Titans love to ground and pound and they use a number of different guys — six players have 80 rushing yards or more this season. Matthewson says they will be ready
