(Ames, IA) — Iowa State football has had some standouts in pre-season practice so far this season.
It is clear that the deepest part of the team is at the receiver position. Head Coach Matt Campbell did say that Senior Daniel Jackson has suffered a lower leg injury is likely out for the season. However, Campbell says the loss shouldn’t affect what’s on the field with two strong starters Seniors Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel
On defense, Campbell mentions two bright spots who have stood out and both players are currently back ups on the depth chart that are pushing for playing time
