(Council Bluffs, IA) – The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association has released its week six baseball rankings for the 2024 baseball season. These rankings are determined by a rankings committee headed by IHSAA Assistant Director Andy Umthun and will be utilized by the IHSAA office for postseason assignments to determine state tournament seeding. Our local schools in Class 1A include Tri-Center at #8 and both Logan-Magnolia and Woodbine are listed as honorable mentions. In Class 2A, Underwood jumps up a spot to #2, Van Meter moves down to the #3 spot, Des Moines Christian comes in at #4, Clarinda jumps into the top ten at #9, and Interstate-35 remains at #10. For Class 3A teams, North Polk moves to the top at #1, Bondurant-Farrar moves back into the top ten at #10, and Harlan is listed as an honorable mention. You can find all the rankings below.
