(Cass Co) Cass County Secondary Roads Employees spent time in Greenfield last week helping clear tornado debris.
Engineer Trent Wolken told the Board of Supervisors Friday morning that he reached out to Adair County following the tornado on May 21st as their Secondary Roads Department was right in the path of the tornado.
Wolken said they loaded around 80 to 100 trucks of debris on Friday.
Wolken also mentioned that since FEMA came in, Cass County can be reimbursed for their services. However, Supervisors Chair Steve Baier noted that they went into this to help a neighbor in a time of crisis.
And, Wolken said they had more volunteers than they had time.
