(Lincoln, NE) – Nebraska men’s basketball continues to hit the transfer portal hard as they pick up another transfer with former Wisconsin Badger Connor Essegian. He will be joining the Huskers program for the 2024-25 season.
Connor Essegian had a stellar first year with the Badgers, averaging 11.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, and played 27.4 minutes per game as a freshman. His sophomore season was not as productive, averaging under eight minutes per game and just 3.2 points per game. The Fort Wayne, Indiana native has a great familiarity with the Huskers after scoring his at the time season-high 12 points in 12 minutes of action against Nebraska on January 6th this past season. He eventually went on to put down 15 points against Rutgers later in the season.
This will be a new look for the incoming junior as he will have two years of eligibility remaining. He will be joining transfers Andrew Morgan, Rollie Worster, and Gavin Griffiths among many more to come for Nebraska next season.
