(Boone, IA) – The IHSAA has released its first official week of the high school boy’s soccer rankings. These rankings are compiled by the Iowa High School Athletic Association by a committee that includes former coaches, officials, and in-state youth club representatives. Starting this year, the rankings provide a primary tool for postseason assignments while maintaining school and geographic considerations. Local teams in Class 1A feature Treynor at #7, St. Albert sits at #8, and Van Meter finishes things off at #10. In Class 2A, Gilbert sits at the #1 spot, Glenwood ranks #4 overall, and Perry finishes Class 2A off at #10. The last of the local teams are featured in Class 3A with undefeated Lewis Central at #1, ADM at #3, and Carlisle at #10. You can find all of the other rankings below.
