(Afton, IA) – At the East Union co-ed meet on Monday, the CAM Cougars were one of the top local teams in the meet. Both the boy’s and girl’s teams competed as the girl’s finished in 2nd while the boys finished in 5th.

The CAM girl’s track team featured multiple top finishes in their second-place finishes. Kylee Williamson finished 7th in the 100m dash (14.67) and Emma Follman finished 8th in the 100m dash (14.76), 7th in the 200m dash (30.05), Bailey Lillard finished 2nd in the 100m hurdles (17.32), Ruthie Rich finished 7th (19.08) in the 100m hurdles, Ada Hansen finished 1st in the 400m hurdles (1:14.81), 1st in the 800m dash (2:29.50), Lyndsey Chaney in 7th in the 800m at 3:03.88, Jaci Eden finished 6th in the 1500m (6:05.19, Mia South finished 3rd in the 3,000m (16:39.50), Lily Barber finished 6th in the discus (87-11), and Macy Burg finished 8th in the shot put (26-09.50)
In the CAM team results, the team finished 2nd in the 800m sprint medley (2:02.12), 2nd in the 4x100m shuttle hurdle (1:14.13), 4th in the 4x400m relay (4:58.43), 3rd in the 4x800m relay (12:00.47), and 3rd in the distance medley (5:15.27).
For the CAM boy’s track team, the boys finished fifth overall. Chase Spieker finished in 2nd in the 100m dash (12.46), Kegan Croghan finished 4th in the 100m dash (12.65), Jack Follman finished first in the 110-meter hurdles (15.12) and 2nd in the 400m hurdles (54.51), Carson McKee finished in 4th in the 400m hurdles, and Brayden Chester finished 3rd in the discus (119-02).
The team results featured CAM in 1st in the 4x100m relay (46.85), and 3rd in the 4x110m shuttle hurdle (1:10.13).
