(Atlantic) The Atlantic Boy’s Swim Team won five events and edged Lewis Central 84-76 in a Hawkeye Ten Conference meet on Saturday at Atlantic.
The 200-yard medley relay team led the meet off with a first-play finish with Hunter Quist, Abe Schechinger, Keaton Rieken, and Alex Lihs in a time of 1:51.69.
Keaton Rieken won the 200-yard Freestyle in 2:06.50, Kyler Rieken finished third (2:16.92), and Shayden Bonar, fifth, 3:16.30.
Hunter Quist finished second in the 200-yard IM in 2:34.29. Abe Schechinger, 2nd, 2:36.68. Paxtyn Meek, Dalton Schechinger, and Parker Brock finished third, fourth, and fifth places, respectively, in the 50-yard Freestyle.
Keaton Rieken touched the wall first in the 100-yard Butterfly in 1:00.18. Dalton Schechinger, third.
Alex Lihs topped the field in the 100-yard Freestyle in 53.06, Shayden Bonar was fourth, and Parker Brock was fifth.
Hunter Quist finished second in the 500-yard Freestyle in 5:58.4, and Lucas Doyle fourth.
Atlantic finished second and third in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay. Kyler Rieken, Lihs, Quist, and Keaton Rieken, 1:38.39. Parker Brock, Paxtyn Meek, Bonar, and Schechinger finished fourth.
Lihs and Doyle finished third and fourth in the 100-yard Backstroke in 1:04.56 and 1:25.84, respectively.
Abe Schechinger won the 100-yard Breastroke in 1:12.68, Kyler Rieken second in 1:19.69, and Meek finished fourth in 1:28.26.
Kyler Rieken, Lucas Doyle, Paxtyn Meek, and Abe Schechinger’s team finished second in the 400-yard Freestyle.
