(Atlantic) Red Oak travels to Atlantic for a matinee tomorrow at Atlantic. The tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday to allow elementary students to attend the game during a special event. The Trojans enter the game with a 3-8 overall record. Red Oak is 3-7.
Atlantic Head Coach Dalton Franken says the Tigers have two guards they need to key on. Hunter Gilleland averages 14 points per game, and Max DeVries has 20 20-points per contest.
The Trojans are led by Colton Rasmussen, the Class 3A leading scorer with 288 points, averaging 26.1 points per outing. Gavin McLaren is averaging 12.8.
Nolan Waters, who can shoot the three-ball, averages 7 points per game, Brock Henderson, 5, and Tyrell Williams, 3.3.
Cyrus Menson (7.0), Brayden Sifford (7.3), and Bryton Bergren provide scoring support for DeVries and Gilleland.
