(Nashville, TN)- The Cyclones traveled to Tennessee for their final competition of the 2023 calendar year at the Collegiate Duals at Montgomery Bell Academy. Iowa State would be met with three teams, two of which were ranked inside the top 15 in the nation, in the form of #13 Pittsburgh, Little Rock, and #5 Cornell. The Cyclones would escape Pittsburgh 21-14, roll over Little Rock 31-9, and take care of Cornell 26-15. Three wrestlers would go undefeated on the night for ISU including Anthony Echemendia, Cody Chittum, and Yonger Bastida. To make the day even more impressive for Bastida, he would have all three wins over ranked opponents and improve his takedown ratio to 52:1. Here are match-by-match results for all three duals:
