(Oakland, IA)- A long weekend of wrestling wrapped up at Riverside High School on Saturday as the girls wrestled Friday night and the boys hosted their tournament on Saturday. This tournament was a big test for area schools as three teams came in as ranked dual teams and the brackets featured over 20 ranked wrestlers from IAwrestle between Class 1A and 2A. Many wrestlers would also come in undefeated but it was an afternoon of upsets as many ranked wrestlers wouldn’t make the finals and an unranked team would finish on the top of the podium.
