(Des Moines) For the 2024 legislative session, the Iowa Library Association’s main priority is to give Iowans access to read any book they want.
There have been several bills that restrict books containing sexually explicit activity in school libraries and some public libraries. The ILA will try to oppose any bills that will limit Iowans’ freedom to read these books.
