(Creston) One person was transported to the hospital when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a parked semi in Creston.
Police say the accident happened late Thursday night. Authorities say 19-year-old Brady Christopher Gross of Irwin, driving a 2011 Ford F150 pickup at a slow rate of speed, struck a parked semi in a parking lot. The accelerator was depressed for an extended period while in drive, causing the rear tires and eventually the pickup to be on fire. A bystander pulled Gross out of the pickup.
Police say Gross appeared to be intoxicated. EMS transported him to Greater Regional Hospital. A blood sample was sent to the lab for testing. OWI charges are pending.
