(Carroll) The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a former IKM/Manning teacher on Friday for multiple sexual abuse charges.
Following an investigation by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the Manning Police Department, and the Carroll County Attorney’s Office, 24-year-old Cassidy Sue (Branning) Kraus of Westside, Iowa, has been arrested and charged with the following:
*Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree, a Class Felony.
*Two Counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child, both Class C Felonies
*Three Counts of Dissemination of Obscene Materials to a Minor, all serious misdemeanors
According to the press release, it is alleged that while employed as a teacher at IKM/Manning School, Kraus engaged in multiple oriented acts with three students, the youngest 13 years old.
Kraus posted the $10,000 bond the following morning and was released from jail.
