(Mills County) Four people, including two children, were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Mills County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, on Interstate 29 near the 37-mile marker. Authorities identified the injured as 20-year-old Gabrielle Wells and 20-year-old Robert Baca, both from Omaha and two children ages 10 and 7.
According to the report, Wells was driving a southbound 2009 Honda PC, attempting to merge from the left to the right lane, when she noticed a semi already in the right lane. Wells overcorrected to the left, went off the roadway, and entered the median. The Honda rolled and ended up on its’ top.
Glenwood EMS transported Wells and the 10-year-old to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Hamburg EMS transported the seven-year-old and Robert Baca to Jenny Edmundson in Council Bluffs.
