One Person Hurt in Pottawattamie Crash

(Avoca) One person suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Avoca.

The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 7:23 p.m. on West High Street. Grace Lucille Pauley of Shelby was driving a westbound 2005 Trailblazer that went out of control, overcorrected, and entered the north ditch, ejecting the driver.

LifeNet airlifted Ms. Pauley to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
