(Story County, Iowa) A crash leaves one person dead and two others injured. The Story County Sheriff’s Office was called near 130th Street and 630th Avenue for a report of a two-car crash over the weekend. The Sheriff’s office says Tanner Crooks and a passenger were heading south in his Nissan Maxima when it passed a stop sign, colliding into a Chevy Silverado. Crooks died, while the passenger and driver of the Silverado were sent to the hospital. The sheriff’s office asks people to be more cautious on the road as harvest season adds farm machinery to streets.
