(Audubon) At Monday’s Audubon Community School Board meeting, School Superintendent Eric Trager discussed the early retirement plan offered to the teaching staff every two years. Mr. Trager says he likes to put this item before the board early in the school year.
The Audubon School District has a standard retirement plan. Trager says he likes the school to look at two things. The first thing is for the board to decide whether they intend to offer early retirement, which is strictly a board decision. The second thing the board needs to determine is what they are willing to offer.
Mr. Trager also discussed the building project and the activity fund. Some schools are offering free admission to students. Trager discussed with the board how that might impact the activity fund. No decision was made.
