(Council Bluffs) A Council Bluffs man is facing charges following an accident that caused serious injuries
The Council Bluffs Police Department was called to a Chevrolet Tahoe vs Motorcycle crash near S 24th Street and 23rd Avenue at 9:27 p.m. on August 10th. The Tahoe, driven by 24-year-old Bryce Smith of Council Bluffs, made a left turn in front of a motorcycle, driven by 18-year-old Kaden Desantiago of Council Bluffs.
After a thorough investigation it was found that Smith tested over twice the legal limit for alcohol at the time of the crash. DeSantiago suffered multiple serious injuries during this incident. Warrants have been applied for Smith’s arrest to include Serious Injury by Vehicle while Operating While Intoxicated.
