(Kimballton) Ryan Billheimer, operator by Affidavit for Kimballton, Iowa says effective immediately the Manganes Advisory is lifted.
On July 5, the city of Kimballton was placed under a drinking water advisory due to high levels of manganese in the drinking water. Officials authorizd residents to not give tap water to infants under 6 months old. Use bottled water for drinking or mixing with formula. Adults and children of all ages were able to continue to bathe, brush their teeth, wash clothes and food, and dishes in tap water.
Again, the Manganese Advisory is no longer in effect, and the tap water is safe to drink.
